Recreation:
For those who would
enjoy it, light
aircraft flights can be arranged
through membership of a local flying club and in good weather only. There
are boat and fishing trips available in suitable sea conditions, also
visits to the Calf of Man. Additionally golf, hiking, clay shooting, sailing,
gliding and diving are popular. Award-winning museums exhibiting our Celtic
and Norse Heritage and illustrating Manx life through the ages will pass
many an hour.
Access:
For those who experience difficulty in negotiating steps, access from the garden at the rear through the patio door is flat; through the kitchen door by one small step up and
from the front by two small separated steps. The approaches, including garden, are all on level ground. A wide apron in the front garden permits easy parking and the avenue is not subject to "through" traffic. Arrival: Please note that normal SC practice is followed in that the property will be available from 1800 hours on Saturday and should be vacated by 10.00 hours on the Saturday of departure.
Please telephone at least a day before leaving home to confirm arrival time and arrange to meet. |
